My wife and I have our first child on the way. Is there anywhere in the US that we should consider moving to raise a family? We’re in california now but my gut keeps telling me we should look elsewhere

I’d personally want to be anywhere close to the coast
West Virginia
i should have led with this, we live near the ocean now and love it. Not sure where else is worth looking into
My reasoning - it’s beautiful in WV, land is cheap, housing is cheap, its a few hours from the East Coast.
Been contemplating coastal nc
Anywhere in the Virginian Shenandoah Valley cc: nostr:npub160t5zfxalddaccdc7xx30sentwa5lrr3rq4rtm38x99ynf8t0vwsvzyjc9
I recommend Maine or Vermont. Lots of water and a very solid rain cycle, to prepare for climate change. Kind, respectful people. Low likelihood of gunfire response when shooting a cop with a camera.
Go where you can homeschooled with no questions asked.
Winchester, VA but really Frederick County, VA
It's lovely 🥰
