Disintermediated, p2p value transfer is important no doubt. Disintermediated, uncensorable p2e (everyone) speech is (at the present time) a bigger innovation.

I care about l love bitcoin / I love nostr but open source has a big problem not the whole mass of contributors have access to funds to sustain their work in the long term even when crypto and bitcoin started to solve this problem this problem is not solved yet bitcoin / nostr don’t have a solution to fund contributors yet we are burning devs look my case all my time and attention is here bc of love but the more I do for the common network the less I get funded. how is it possible?
