Iโ€™m at the it is what it is stage, I absolutely love music and am also pretty clued up on the dark arts of music production. Often times I think music for many is just a metronome used while performing other tasks, be that the gym, working, running or whatever. That function could easily be achieved with an app with faders for mood, tempo etc. no need for human presence. However, thatโ€™s not how I personally like to interact with noise or feel about music. To me itโ€™s a process, a catharsis, a way to understand the world and very much something to be a part of and interact with but thatโ€™s an edge use case. Iโ€™ve doubled down on physical interaction with music regardless. It is nice!
Oh yes, I forgot you're deep in this๐Ÿ˜„ I'm in music too, but quite the opposite. Since I play with blues and bigbeat musicians, my audience is at least 60 years old. They grew up on connection, especially rockers during communism when it was mostly prohibited, they invested their heart into listening or playing it - could easily end up in jail and some did. That's the core who appreciates listening to somewhat mellow music with deep blues connection to the lyrics and life truths. It has also drama, but not epileptic flash lights and deafening beat. More like spitting fire and sweating drummer, whom you can appreciate. It's very close to appreciating modern big pop concet diva, but it's like talking to someone at the table or messaging with the same person. One of the things doesnt feed our brain the right signal. ๐Ÿค”
