The propose of “running knots” is to signal disapproval of the upcoming b-core v30 CHANGE to mempool default policy.
You are relying too much on celebrity of the “leaders” of either side.
Do you think people who want to continue filtering out large op_returns now want to switch to an altcoin?
I am not relying on any leader, or any side.
I am not technical enough to go deep in the topic, but I know what I want tonuse bitcoin for, and is money, divided from State or C..entral authority.
My signal to disapproval to change on MEMPOOL policies is running old version of core, I stayed on 0.27.
I made questions, to both sides, and saw fallacies in their answers, from both sides.
No need of heroes or leaders..
I respect that and I agree with that approach as well.
Unfortunately core seems still to be pushing ahead with this ridiculous change
Bitcoin shouldn't have one "Core".
Bitcoin should be decentralised in every form.. having a core, a central environment of devs, IS A SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE.. IMHO.
I believe we are moving in that direction now thankfully.
Yes I agree, it could be a positive outcome from this shitshow.
