Muting is important to user experience. Having it as a feature in your client isn't great but not enough, it also has to work.
Words/topics I muted, not a hint of it is allowed to appear in my TL, at all.

What's with the crappy attitude?
To be fair, they’re all crappy. I use about 5 of them, none are good enough. One thing they all horribly fail at is muting.
So you like to state facts but don’t actually suggest anything to use. You want to be an advocate, make a great suggesting.
And relays can’t do shit about what I mute. I mute words and topics from people I follow. That’s how I like to curate my feed.
