🚨Farida Nabourema recently wrote: "The objective was never to build organizations that survive on Bitcoin. The objective was, and remains, to build an Africa that can thrive because of it."
That observation resonates deeply.
After documenting 189 Bitcoin projects in our Q3 2026 African Bitcoin Ecosystem Report, one trend stood out: Too many promising projects don't survive beyond their first two years.
The challenge isn't a lack of talent, technical ability, or passion.
It's the lack of structured support after the hackathon:
➡️Product validation.
➡️Business mentorship.
➡️Accountability.
➡️Funding pathways.
➡️Long-term ecosystem support.
Africa doesn't just need more Bitcoin projects. It needs more sustainable Bitcoin companies.
That's the problem we're setting out to solve.
If you'd like to help founders move from prototypes to sustainable products, we'd love to hear from you.📩
