I'm not disappointed bip 110 failed, I expected it to, I'm new to Bitcoin and ignorant about the history and technical side of things but I could see exactly what was going to happen. What has actually disappointed me is the "victory laps" from people who risked and gained absolutely nothing from this. The people who sat on the sidelines alongside me watching. Taking the opportunity to kick other people after they're already down and taking credit for a victory they had absolutely no part it.

I had hope that one of the mining pools would weaponise it against the others. But you're right the worst part has been seeing everyone gloat that btc is captured by centralised mining pools as if that's a good thing, or that they are one step closer to Michael Saylors kyc digital real estate media hosting platform with nodes owned by Blackrock. Bip110 answered the question a lot of people were too afraid to ask and now they're in denial and celebrating.
