This is so true. MSSM has completely skewed the social mechanism. It has become far more attention seeking, because the only incentive is building followers and then expecting some ad revenue.
When you are motivated by #zaps and honest #value4value, the entire game changes, and the incentive quickly becomes QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.

Quality over quantity for sure! And recognizing where the source of quality abides is even more important. Legacy socials get their "quality" from quanitfying users leading to the user having low value. Nostr reorients quality to the npub and your community engaments quantify your value.
