this bitcoin fatwa stuff feels to me like a political play to put pressure on sunnis engaging economically with their persian brothers under the guise religious authority. it is just the newest version of fiqhmaxing. boring! and more importantly irrelevant to the reality/haqq of what bitcoin is and does.
