"In sum, the historical record from the relevant period shows
that our Nation did not regard concealed carry and open carry as
interchangeable. The right to keep and bear arms did not extend
to the carrying of weapons in secret, which was regarded as the
practice of the cowardly and the disreputable and as incompatible
with the legitimate exercise of the right of self-defense. Open carry,
by contrast, was understood to be the manner of bearing arms that
gave full effect to the rights secured by the Second Amendment."

How many gunfights have you been in?
Zero and I hope it stays that way. But I believe I already understand your position on guns in America and you're free to have it.
The state has no business under your vest or in your pockets or wherever you put a weapon. Any such law is a violation of privacy.
A world with guns is a more open and honest world.
Every man or woman who enters and drives a vehicle is an equal. It gives everyone the same power to run someone over or do other malicious acts. But at par, keeps people following the rules of the road.
Guns do the same (psychologically). It levels the playing field where people know each other are equals.
