Nice. Yes, I think it’s best to have options all set up to fall back to if nothing else. I have found that the backend server service on my S9 for Matrix has been rock solid. All the issues I’ve had were in getting the flaky front end clients to connect or stay connected over Tor. That said, I started using Schildi chat instead of Element (it was forked but improved) and hit a sweet run of no issues for months. Then Element seemed to get sorted by a better release too. And the issues I was having using Orbot to get Element to connect on my mobile were resolved by an Orbot update too I think. But not used it much the last couple of months so that could be out of date again now.
