It's called millennial gray and we like it.
Iβm 80s then. Prefer yellow warm tones. Greys and blue based are depressing but they are popular
After 1971 even the colors changed. The gold standard rabbit hole π±
Havana, Cuba. The more difficult things got, the brighter the colors. Cubans are resilient, hopeful and their spirit is reflected in an expression of individuality.
America's pallet is an indication of boiling bullfrogs. The slow decline of self, to a bland, neutral existence.


BTW - this is what the idea of "luxury townhouse" decorating in Vancouver, Canada looks like. Where it's mostly rainy and cloudy. Outside is dull and grey, inside is sanitized conservatism, ironically from the overly liberal minded boomers who own them.
