People have forgotten Europe also tried to separate from the US 16 years ago, when Putin said Russia would join the Eurozone, which would have married Russian energy with German engineering, a combo that surely sent panic thru certain DC circles. When the Euro was introduced it was supposed to solidify Europe as the center of the world once again, US put a stop to that plan and installed black rock executives in the political process of Europe like Chancellor Merz. image

Well, i am in europe and i don't feel at all that i would be in the center of the world etc, or that would be beneficial for the european south. In fact, to be honest, probably better that didn't happen. I don't want the european elites to be benefited.
Its best Europe never becomes a global power but I was pointing out more that Russia and Europe were at peace, and now after 16 -20 years the US completely made sure that didnt happen.

Center of the world? That's nazi Putler wording... Sick.
The petrodollar architecture requires energy to flow through dollar-denominated channels. Russian gas plus German manufacturing would have been the first major bloc that didn't need that — not threatening, just financially independent. Any arrangement that doesn't recycle surpluses through US Treasuries is structurally intolerable to the system.
