He says he can do my work for me, but last time I put him up to it he just quit in the middle of it, then nuked his own development plans, so I don't think he can be trusted.

The weird bit for me with UBI, ( which is what he is pointing to ) is even if that is the end game, the issue isn't what to do with all the people when there is no work, it is how you navigate society stresses while the jobs are being eroded. i.e. how do we get from here to there? I remember as a kid people would say “imagine when the robots do most of the work. You will be able to work a few hours a week, so what will you do with all that leisure time?” Now they don’t call it leisure time. Now it is called unemployed lol
