Android studio has been giving me some issues too, I use it in conjunction with Cursor AI nowadays because I can ask Cursor what’s happening to better understand why I’m getting wrong in Android Studio. I haven’t used the workflow you describe here yet, but will try it out tomorrow for sure 🦾
