Merchants are the ones who drive #Bitcoin adoption forward. They’re the bridge between Bitcoin as an asset and Bitcoin as money.
I believe it’s inevitable that goods and services will eventually be priced in sats. It may take time, but that’s the logical end state of a money with a fixed supply and a growing network.
Every merchant who accepts Bitcoin helps move us one step closer.

Is there a non-browser version? Id love to sign in with Amber, but it wants my browser extension signer.
Yes, two key factors:
✅merchants have to produce high quality stuff
+
✅refuse fiat

That’s exactly what we’re trying to do at Machakos — turn Bitcoin from “something people hold” into something people actually live on.
A circular economy doesn’t begin with ETFs and price charts… it begins with a merchant saying “yes, sats accepted here.” ☕🍔⚡
Every shop, boda guy, café, barber, or biashara that accepts Bitcoin weakens fiat’s monopoly just a little more. One day people won’t mentally convert sats back to fiat… prices will simply be sats.
Adoption doesn’t move forward through hype alone. It moves when real people exchange real value every day.
Machakos is building for that future. ⚡🇰🇪
Every producer who only accepts bitcoin is like 100 merchants on steroids.
on the other hand, individuals exchanging their fiats for sats until they find a way to receive directly in sats for their work, sticking outside the system and fiat banks until they have no account in any other. use sats with merchants who accept and offer as payment to their employees.
Just added a bunch of folks I know and have been interacting with on here for the last couple years...
Also wanted to add @Contraband Joe, but he's a very new profile (so I think that's why it wouldn't let me tag it?)
They came to nostr just days ago, by way of Agorist.Market (I know them too)
Grandmothers in the local market pricing local stews in sats is the ultimate endgame. We aren’t just bridging the gap; we’re burning the old bridge down. Drop a zap if your local vendor is next.

Our goal at @LNbits is to make that as simple and versatile as possible.
