Maybe? I value decentralisation more than a community project that offers only a centralised project that can vanish at any point in time. Less value in building long term trade relationships there if it can be rugged internally born externally.

but otoh, if nobody uses it, it doesn't matter if the tech is better.
The problem is that Bitcoiners don't use it; we have a big attitude problem in this community.
