Two oldies that spring to mind are My Cousin Vinny and The Blues Brothers, you might have seen those already. If you've not seen Hugo it's worth checking out. A fun musical movie is Sing and Sing 2. If you've got to my profile and search the word "movie", there are more recent ones I've seen.

WOW! Thank you. Great Movies all together. Guess I like Movies as much as you. Juste ordered "Cinema Paradiso" as this is the only one I didnt see. Iam very curious about the film, as I associate many memories with going to the cinema. Unfortunately, it seems that cinema is dying out. But streaming is not to blame; rather, it is that in new productions the educational or moral agenda has become so obvious that one can no longer simply enjoy the film. So, back to books or one’s own DVD collection. As Goethe already said: 'For what one has in black and white, one can confidently take home with them. Until the film arrives, I will rewatch one or two movies from your list. I think I will start with 'Dead Poets Society'.

I watched the movie. Really liked it. The story vaguely reminded me of Frankie & Johnny with Michelle Pfeiffer and Al Pacino.
