Don’t use Swan!!!
I have a lot of my Bitcoin trapped in a Swan IRA. I just learned about the process to transfer to a different broker, and it’s horrendous.
First, Swan “doesn’t have any visibility” into the price I will get upon liquidation, and it will take 2-3 days. In other words they’ll just stick me with the worst possible price during my transfer window.
On top of that, they charge a 0.99% fee to transfer.
I’m ripping the band-aid off, but not happy about this.

I first used Swan on the recommendation of nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a , who I trusted.
I should have listened to nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx sooner
