The Fold app is really stupid. They advertise 1.5% back on ACH payments, so I switched my mortgage and other ACH payments over to it, only to find out that isn’t qualified spend. Total waste of time!

It’s been 3 weeks and I still haven’t completed this transfer from Swan. Never again!

Every dump is a blessing

I’m always sad to watch Bitcoin dip, but then I see ETH dropping even faster and I feel happy.
Is it possible to set up email alerts with Strike so I know when my DCA executes? @strike @jack mallers
Don’t use Swan!!!
I have a lot of my Bitcoin trapped in a Swan IRA. I just learned about the process to transfer to a different broker, and it’s horrendous.
First, Swan “doesn’t have any visibility” into the price I will get upon liquidation, and it will take 2-3 days. In other words they’ll just stick me with the worst possible price during my transfer window.
On top of that, they charge a 0.99% fee to transfer.
I’m ripping the band-aid off, but not happy about this.
Publicly shaming @Cory 🦢 Swan for the Bitcoin community.
I first used Swan on the recommendation of @Lyn Alden , who I trusted.
I should have listened to @ODELL sooner
I have decided to once and for all abandon Coinbase, despite them seeming to have the lowest all-in fees for limit order purchases + withdrawals to self custody.
Can the Bitcoin community help me evaluate Strike vs River? I do not want to use Swan since they do not have their own Bitcoin infrastructure.
Thanks!
@strike @River @ODELL @HODL @Danny Knowles
Hi @strike team decided I am going to purchase all Bitcoin through Strike moving forward. I want to support @jack mallers and a trusted Bitcoin only company.
Can you help me understand the benefit of direct deposit vs recurring purchase? I like the idea of a direct deposit automatically converted to Bitcoin, but it doesn’t seem like the fee is waived like it is for a recurring purchase. Thanks for the help!
Can someone help me understand if the Blockclock by @Coinkite is safe from a security perspective? It seems the only way to get it to work is to use my main WiFi user name / password, and the website is http instead of https. It doesn’t pass the smell test to me
Let’s goooo

Finally had a chance to check out @PUBKEY with a long time Bitcoiner friend this week. Was even greeted with a free shot with my first beer!

Frustrated by the Bitkey product. Prompted to update firmware and it doesn’t recognize my fingerprint. How can I trust this for something more important @jack ?
