It is. It makes Lightning more of a pain in the ass than Lightning is without the extra BS compliance. Example: @PUBKEY @The Daniel 🖖 used to struggle and complain about this.

Fortunately there are some people who have been putting time and resources into getting the BitLicense repealed. It may not happen until we have less corrupt and idiotic leadership in Albany, but this happened yesterday at the NYC mayor’s residence. So there is a push starting.
