Definitely worth running your own node! Running a node absolutely changed my relation to Bitcoin, increased my sovereignty 10-fold and opened up a ton of new doors. Probably best place to start are either Plebnet or @Nodestrich ♾️ groups on Telegram. Lots of other noderunners glad to share advice and get you started on the journey. ⚡️
