Things I am grateful for, on my way from glamorous downtown Rome to my little Bavarian cow town: 1. German butchers 2. German bakers 3. German candelstick makers (Just kidding! Sort of.) 4. German carpenters, plumbers, electricians, janitors, gardeners, police, ambulance drivers, and repair men 5. German bus drivers 6. German windows 7. German windows! 8. German city traffic 9. German restaurants 10. TÜV It was very exciting and educational and the awesome stuff is truly awesome, and there will be a full write-up, but I just wanted you to feel my deep relief, as I head back through the Alps. image

They're monoglots, same as the bus drivers. They just yelled even louder in Italian and acted like everyone was retarded. Umm... Hello... We are standing in front of the Colloseum. Most of us are foreigners. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Police and municipal workers should be able and willing to speak at least a few words in another European language, preferably English. Especially in the capital city!

I'm currently imagining an argument between NYPD officers and transit workers and them. They're exactly the same🀣.
