Men often neglect this, even Christian men, who attempt to shame their recalcitrant wives into submission using the Bible. This typically ends badly.
Instead, men should look to what God has revealed in Nature to cultivate a natural followership in their woman which is both satisfying and fulfilling for both sexes.
All relationships start with a woman admiring, respecting, and conforming herself to her man. The men who continue in this light build a fearce loyalty in their woman.
The men who shirk their masculine responsibility in order to make their wife a friend or a therapist, effectively converting the relationship to a nurtering womb for themselves, eventually cause their woman to become a bitter, managerial figure, even straying outside the marriage to find fulfillment.
It is paramount that men lead, not just because it is what God wants, but because a Man's leadership can effectively insulate woman and children from evil and provide a Godly example to the world.
