I think about that last sentence so much. Its so perfect, yet so many does not believe it exist. They just wave around about their rights and want to be governed harder. Bender said it best though ๐Ÿ˜† image
In a perfect world, open source software distribution would already be solved, and people could dedicate their time to explore ideas and create without the weight of having to support themselves and their loved ones. The world is not perfect. People struggle, most have their own interests in mind and there is competition. I never got a grant myself, but I know many people that got grants and it helped them immensely. People at OpenSats and other foundations are just humans and certainly have their faults but so many projects were supported, so many people were helped, that is unfair to just criticize. And just like Foundations need to raise the bar, aim higher and do better, so do developers and builders. We all do. View quoted note โ†’
