I trust all the code I run. Open source or no, no one reads source code to verify their programs work as intended. Usually the bugs aren't so catastrophic and unrecoverable, but very rarely they are. And even if you did read all the source code you wouldn't be able to catch them all. Even if you wrote every line of it.

People need to trust each other. What we should have known better was than to trust someone as obviously scummy as NVK no matter how much airtime coldcards got. We worship asshole devs way too much round these parts.
If you thought buying plastic online after a podcast ad made you a sovereign you should have known better.
