Passport Prime Unresponsive My Passport Prime finally arrived Unboxed and started setup with Envoy Connected with qr and quantum link It struggled to scan the NFC cards Failed numerous times to write to cards Finally wrote to cards Tapped on Files Tapped on Keys Tapped on Vault Tapped on 2fa Camera error And now device is basically bricked unresponsive No phyisical buttons will lock unlock screen or power off No screen taps result in anything Doesn't show if charging or not @QnA @Foundation

Onboarding was less than ideal Shouldn't need a phone to setup first time Lack of clarity if I can use multiple phones Prime should offer alternative to writing to nfc cards Doesn't explain what it means to backup to apple or google account - i don't have that I use graphene What is the third card for?

Had the same problem with the cards. Writing them worked better without the case, but still not without multiple attempts. It also won't charge with my regular phone charger, but when I connected my powerbank to it charging worked.

Yeah, had to take off the case too. No icon showing if charging or not.

Hhhm. I created a new master key It wrote to envoy It wrote to one card but then I started over because the other two failed So maybe it wrote to the other two next try? it said i only needed 2 cards or 1 card plus envoy to recover so now I am just confused it also said it was going to write to my apple or google account but I don't have that but prime never said anything about what my account would be but maybe that happens if you aren't on graphene? 🤔

Very confusing first experience. When I tried to backup to the cards in the initial setup it also said two cards needed, but the manual backup later used three. You can check your cards with verify cards in prime, maybe you'll get info if all three been used. Have you disabled magic backups in Envoy? I didn't encounter that it will backup to google or apple account cause I disabled magic backups.

Ok it died and now came back on thank god The cord that came doesn't seem to charge off a phone cube It only charges off my computer power pack There is an icon that shows charging

Not seeing where to disable magic in envoy I got it turned on and only two cards work so the third is for the way you did it. I am going to wipe it and start over.

I had no issues with setup. Cards were easy to use without the case on the device. Backup with GrapheneOS is complicated right now. Sounds like that's being worked.
