Freud’s favourite book was the Brothers Karamazov! He even wrote a review of it claiming Dostoevsky was likely bisexual from his reading of the book 😅 fascinating review to read
“Sigmund Freud's essay "Dostoevsky and Parricide" analyzes Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel "The Brothers Karamazov," linking its themes of parricide to the author's personal struggles, including his epilepsy and gambling. Freud argues that the novel reflects deep psychological conflicts, particularly the Oedipus complex, and highlights the moral and existential dilemmas faced by its characters.”

Interesting. I wonder if Carl Jung ever had an opinion on the subject.
I looked into it before
Tbh I don’t know where they really differ much generally
Jung much more symbolic whereas Frued v pointed
I know Jung split from Frued. Jung had a hard time with it for awhile.
