Yesterday, I went to Melbourne’s Crown Oaks day and visited the horses in the stable. I walked past a very long line of people queuing for the birdcage club and turned left instead to see the horses in the stables. I met Detonator Jack before his race and he was so gentle and handsome. He was sired by Jakkalberry and his mum/dam is Red Delicious. He is a thoroughbred horse born 3rd November in New Zealand, 2018. He was coming last in the pack in his race and made his way to first in the last seconds, and then finished second. I’m so proud of him, I went and spoke with him after the race too. https://video.nostr.build/a36ec932f30a209912f169ba81ff904119e22a46714650ab4c57f5eba0596e0d.mp4

What a handsome horse. Horses are such interesting creatures. They could easily just ignore and crush us. But they listen and even let us sit on top of them. Sometimes I swear they are big dogs 😊 I just made a post about it today too πŸ˜‚ nostr:nevent1qqsv885wddelg3pdvc57yz6je0y2npfgzmhna5e8qu3u7tt6y5x37mqpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9upzqnfds46384rnsc4em2272ytmw3kx5v244r8mr4905x27wp77244yqvzqqqqqqykz6p5m
