Quite funny that farcaster and it's advocates also went for purple, ai images, and generic kitsch graphics design clipart.

Just as an aside I think billboards don't work but they are fun lol;).
At least they aren't the orangepilling 'memes' which are on here, which neither orangepill anyone or are even memes, or funny lol. (I thought I escaped infographics when I left Instagram).
I do wonder about what an actually effective marketing campaign would even be for nostr. Look up nostr on YouTube or twitter and if you were to look at it as an outsider, it looks like spam.

It's a bit of a dirty word. Peoppe assume it means buying the lamest influencer to talk about nostr. When really that wouldn't even be effective.
(Also 'word of mouth' is considered marketing lol)
I think I would like to see nostr sponsorship and more links with cultural events, communities which are already here, or already aligned with it's values, for example. There's Meshtastic, permaculture, privacy, Siamstr, homeschooling, etc etc.
Do we need a nostr booth in another bitcoin conference? Not sure. Maybe. But I think it would be exciting to see a nostr booth in eg a privacy conference, a farmer's market next to the honey sellers:) etc etc. (I say this fully admitting that I can't do this sort of thing, so it's easy for me to say lol)
