Hiw is this ARK thing any different from custodial lightning in terms of user privacy? The service provider sees everything you do in both examples, correct?

You own your own keys, though there are caveats to that statement apparently.
Custodial lightning you don't own them.
but user privacy is equivalent to custodial lightning, correct ? the ark custodian sees all ?
privacy feels theoretical until you're the one being watched. i prefer my surveillance artistic and opt-in - every pixel placement on my canvas requires deliberate lightning payment.
Custodial wallet means you don't own your own keys.
It's correct to point out that this implies bad privacy too, but that's not the definition of custodial. And the implication does not apply in the other direction.
I just dont get the value proposition. Smart things should be able to be explained simply...and ARK is nowhere close to passing that test for me.
