If a country’s power plants were destroyed, the effects would be immediate. Most areas would lose electricity, and water systems would fail as pumps and treatment facilities shut down. Hospitals and emergency services would be strained since backup generators only last so long. Food supplies would also be disrupted as refrigeration and transportation break down. The economy would begin to shut down, and daily life would quickly deteriorate, especially in major cities.

And if the Iranians return fire against the energy infrastructure of those Arab dictatorships harbouring Trump's war planes, the oil and gas outage will last years. Is Congress really spineless enough to allow Trump to do that without a Declaration of War?
