just an observation that there is a temptation to let seeing the conspiratorial truth become tied to your identity, rather than just have it be something that happens sometimes. you can see it reflected in all the “the real truth behind…” headlines. a need for recognition and a sense of purpose. telling the truth when it needs to be told is great. but if your self validation gets tied to it, what happens when things are ok? you start creating scenarios to keep that sense of purpose you had when you first started speaking out. There are seasons for speaking, and seasons for minding your own business.
