Run ads on Wisp. There’s a 99% chance TikTok would shadowban such a project that goes against the doom scroll, attention harvesting culture. Ads on Wisp could be placed on the top and bottom of articles, in the feed etc. I don’t think there’s any other way to monetize a free app without harvesting and selling data. Create a quasi Signal/Facebook approach. Don’t collect user info, collect pseudonym info to position ads. Thinking out loud.
