#Cashu has many interesting promises! But... Where can I read about, why it's not just a form of ERC20's, that will incentivize "give me your #Bitcoin here's my shitcoin"? Is Cashu going to drive the next wave of scammers to Bitcoin providing them excellent rugpull technology? Why should I trust a mint? What's their incentive? Here to learn 🤓

You should only trust a mint with the amount of sats you are willing to lose, as Cashu is still in beta, and with most mints, you won't know who is behind them. That's one of the reasons we set up a directory to rate mints based on trustworthiness. The incentive is that they can serve the community, like a Nostr relay or Bitcoin node.
