if you want to be successful as a salesman the one thing you can not do is assume the customer possesses ANY intelligence assume the level of customer intelligence is ZERO start lying and don't stop sure you will lose the 1% of customers like me who do actually possess intelligence but if you tell the truth you will lose the 99% who don't
