How is this correct? No matter what you do to a pedophile they'll still be a pedophile. This takes away exactly zero people's ability to molest children. What's the point? Like, is this just a salty attempt to compensate for all the child molesters who never get caught?

I understand that pedophiles have a deformed attraction toward children and it's not normal but even regular men sometimes have attraction toward nice women and still they decide not to attack them. Some because they know is morally reprehensible, others just because they know they will go in jail and will be beaten by other inmates. It's called deterrence. Just that. If you castrate a man pedo and surgically damage a pedo woman there is a good chance the next pedo will put on the plates of the balance his sick desire and that horrible punishment and choose better.

Do you genuinely believe that a child molester is carefully and rationally considering the risks and rewards and expecting to get caught? Are we supposed to entrust child molesters with the job of protecting our kids? To me it just seems like coping 100%. We can't catch one guy, so we're going to hurt the other guy twice as much to compensate and make us feel better.
