I don’t like when podcasts start with a minute or so of clips from the show as teasers. Im already listening, I clicked, i don’t want to hear people say the same shit twice.

I agree. I maybe see the benefit for a podcast over an hour so you know what's covered but to do it for a 10 minute podcast. It takes 10 percent of the show time.

Yes. Let all that is spoken in the pod come in its own time, leading up naturally.

I hate this too. It’s a new editing style that gen z is crazy about. I see it all them time on YouTube now too.

A lot of podcasts these days are just ripped audio from a youtube video. I get it for efficiency but the first 30 seconds or so are what youtube plays as a preview in your recommended feed. So there's a certin amount of click bait there.

Exactly. I berate these podcasters and threaten unsubscription. Just announce the point and dive evermotr deeply. That is the winning format.
Something else that's annoying, that I've noticed in more and more podcasts recently is that the ads start in the middle of a sentence. Not sure if this is some kind of scientifically proven manipulation tactic to get people to pay more attention to the ad, or just crappy ad injector AI.
