There’s a Chinese saying/meme: 「誰大，誰惡，誰正確」 “Whoever is bigger, more ruthless, and more powerful is right.” It’s cynical, but sometimes it feels painfully true. It’s not saying they’re actually right. It’s saying that, in practice, power can determine whose version of “right” prevails. Sometimes, truth matters less than who has the upper hand.
