I’ve been loosely following X’s efforts to demonetize content “aggregators” and instead incentivize and reward more original content. These interactions are pure entertainment. In this screenshot their head of product confronts a large aggregator account, Massimo, for cropping out the watermark of the account who originally posted a video. Turns out the account that watermarked it also didn’t make the video, but scraped it from YouTube and slapped his own watermark on it before posting to X for monetization 😂🤦‍♂️ image

💯 I’ve unfollowed most of them. The ones that post political “news” are the worst. They all scramble to be the first or sound the most outraged/serious/shocked. It’s all just to grab attention long enough to monetize their posts. So annoying
