Fun #BGP fact: some big carriers (at least Lumen and RETN) expect route/route6 IRR objects to match announced prefix exactly (same prefix length), longer matching principle isn't used even if you have proper ROA covering your entire allocation (IPv6 prefix with length of /40 for example) and with "Max Length" parameter set to /48.
Experienced it with one of our BGP customers.

I guess they need to simplify their routing tables to avoid hitting size limits? As v6 gains traction (does it?) it will become more of an issue.
I don't think this is an issue for IPv6 in foreseeable future. As seen by our network (AS215467), fullview for IPv4 contains 972711/970267 routes and IPv6 only 206989/212113 (Poland/Sweden accordingly)
