I like fighting and find more joy in that, while the gym is more of a disciplined activity which is necessary. I like the results in my overall appearance and fitness, though, I don't enjoy the activity itself. Meanwhile, I mostly always love sparring and get similar results with fitness, though, I need the gym for a different form of strength which I can't get exclusively from grappling alone.
In summary, the gym is boring and doesn't excite me, compared to wrestling etc

I get you. Strength is complimentary, so it’s a matter of stacking weight training in a way it yields max returns without being overbearing and too much of a chore.
