Don’t sign up for Threads if you have an Instagram account. Both accounts will be linked and you won’t be able to delete without deleting the other.
Remember it’s all about tracking your every move and selling your profile to advertisers!

Normies wont care. They like big platforms
How can we bring the people to nostr? The people i am talking to are not interested at all.😢
THANK YOU FOR THIS HEADs up . SO BASICALLY NEVER USE THREADS
You cannot unlink? At all…? Your threads account is permanent *_* ?
Hopefully this backfires and the Instagram community nukes themselves
What a genius way to lock users into the ecosystem… 🤡
don't worry! I am not 🫡
Never signing up for thread in the first place.
I only read the first 5 words. I concur.
Why would anyone with 2cents of brain touch anything FB related? Ppl are so so lazy...
Just don’t.

I have an idea
Why do you have an Instagram account at all?
For me, it’s only place where I can stay connected with my friends
No instagram and no threads for me, thank you!
I see it as a Instagram feature. Not a new account. That’s why you can’t delete it. You can turn it off, delete all your posts, etc. it’s just another Instagram feature. I think that’s the disconnect.
If that is true are these people really your friends?
Just assume anything you give to Meta will never be deleted.
Because of recipes and content like art and things that make the world halfway liveable. Catvideos, dogvideos beautiful photography of nature…
Cat videos… 🙃
Yes
😂💜🫂
I linked my instagram to Threads because I was preserving my ID of DeanSMS from being used by others. I have done this with most social apps. Of course, I logoff of such and don't return except in a blue moon.
Not sure how DeanSMS works but if you ever lose that phone number to someone else your account is theirs … basically weakening your security
good point.
I am making a note to always change telelphone number / email address before changing them. thanks.
I only rmpt my live-streams to Facebook for my former classmates and relatives enjoyment. Occasionally, I check out what they posted to meta.
Free zaps!
Highly unlikely that Zuck will suceed. Its like Bing tried to compete with Google back in the days.
