Agreed. They’ve been brought up being taught that they are superior to the Arab and that the Arab wants to kill them. Add in “this land was promised to us by god” so we can kill the current owner and take it…..but you’re right all this is engineered by the rulers to destabilise the region.

Yeah, that's 50% of the reason why, but no more. Most are willing to take any benefit they can get from the crimes, and self-congratulatingly bask in the reflected power.
