Month 3 of taking 6-9 months off from work & it’s getting weird. I was burnt the fuck out. The strong desire to set up an LLC as a BTC home mining company is strong. Sure it may be at a loss for a bit. Take advantage of some tax policies & use it to protect assets is also a thing. Lots to consider. Lots. One thing is for sure, there are options & I know the type of people I can & cannot work with going forward. I can work with me & that’s about it at the moment.

Maybe. We do some mining already in the winter. The LLC thing has crossed my mind. Taking advantage of certain benefits as well tied to that (maybe fiat mindset but I don’t know).

Is that me dunking on winning or winning by dunking? So many ? on the Jordan memes 😂
It's worth looking into. Are you interested in a LLC for tax purposes, or to be able to purchase more miners with credit through the company?
It's definitely worth it. I legally barely pay anything in taxes each year. The only way to do it is with a company. Having it at your house would enable you claim a ton of your regular expenses as tax write offs.

Software sales. Long time. Primarily did startups the last 12 years or so. Pre-IPO to IPO phase. Shit ton of travel & extremely high pressure. I’m good at it. Very. Covid was the kicker for me. That exposed so much shit that it was hard to not see it. I couldn’t visit a company or go to my own company events for over 2 years as I wasn’t vaxxed. They were so afraid of me. It was kind of funny tbh. Clown show was hard to accept. The shift back to “normalcy” just made me more angry. Fucking NPC’s everywhere.

A brother from another motha is what you are. That’s what’s been kicking around my noggin. That’s why doing it at a “loss” wouldn’t even bother me. Benefits > profits.

Lightning in a bottle. (Key & Peele).
I’m thinking about doing the same here on the property. It’s literally the perfect place for it. (Other than Ethiopia where electricity is $.03/kwh) I’d like to get a hash hut and fill it with miners I’m going to start reaching to friends, family, and others in my network looking for investment I just feel like I’d regret not doing this in 20 years

The regret is part of it. Next 3 years are going to be interesting. I have a lot of electrician friends. Lots. I can wire my shed or another part of the house & I’m off.

I’m enjoying myself atm. Karens and ghey ass policies at work create such a sterile and burnout environment. I just couldn’t handle it anymore

Bingo. I need a fight. A real fight. That’s when I’m at my best. Pussification has ruined work.
Don't want too many cooks in the kitchen, but for investment capital, I think it'd be cool. I'd love to invest into something like that, instead of buying public miners stocks.

We had a team call on Monday mornings where everyone literally said “good morning” on a zoom when spoken to. 18 or so people. The good morning call. I can barely hear the words without hitting a wall now. When I type it here it’s just to fit in as I despise the phrase.
I retired early because of stress/ burnout. My health improved. Sure the larger social security check would be nice if I would have worked longer but we are doing ok. Hang in there!

Good friend of mine just did as well. Went from heart palps & high stress engineering to selling golf clubs part time. Retired & happy is the way. I like you Bob, even with the pickleball shit.

Oh yeah. Surrounded by the biggest narcissists on the planet in software sales, but we are a family. Always made me laugh.
I think it’s a solo effort to get it setup and maintained But for a larger investment I would need some silent partners And only silent because we don’t really need to do much once it’s set up

History should tell you that there are no such things as silent partners. The best of friendships can barely handle a joint business venture. Go it alone.
Interesting man, enterprise mostly? I build. I can't sell for shit. Hate people too much. Will keep you in mind on JV if my health ever improves enough to build anything significant. 🤣 Also off, indefinitely. I know the feeling. Smart to put health high, but as you say, need something to fight.

Only Enterprise. You’d 100% know the names of my last 3 that went IPO. I started at the big boys like Oracle/Peoplesoft/SAP. Years ago. Many moons.

Funny story, last year we had a team retreat and all the higher ups had their mouths full of we are family here, family this and family that. The same week, like literally same week, they fired a dude in our team 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Understand MEDDIC if you ever want to sell. And be honest. Good salespeople don’t lie.
