#Bitcoin is a literal force of nature. Understanding how power laws appear throughout nature - in everything from the branching of rivers to the growth of cities - reveals a profound truth about Bitcoin: it follows the same universal patterns. The fact that Bitcoin’s price behavior aligns so closely with power law scaling is remarkable; it suggests that Bitcoin’s growth is not random, but rather an emergent property of its network structure and adoption. This pattern, woven into Bitcoin’s very design, reflects the self-organizing principles seen in natural systems and underscores Bitcoin as more than a financial asset - it’s a beautifully resilient, mathematically grounded gift that embodies humanity’s pursuit of freedom and order. #grownostr #plebchain image

Would love to learn and understand better and more about the pattern of self-organizing principles mirrored within Bitcoin's design.

What is mind boggling is how did Satoshi know this? Was it a fluke or a carefully planned strategy, we will probably never find out
I don’t think it matters, but it’s an interesting question. I believe that with curiosity, a quest for truth, and perseverance in solving problems through science, we inevitably follow deeply ingrained patterns that form the bedrock of everything.
We had author/ecologist Tom Wessels give a talk at our farm this year – He speaks a lot about mutualisms and co-evolutions, resilient systems, etc. All of this from an ecological perspective, but always relating it back to how those natural systems apply to human interactions. The first couple seconds here gives you an idea, but this whole talk is worth a listen: “Building robust networks of relationships that are mutually beneficial.” <– That's what's Bitcoin is all about ⚡️ Also here, I like to think he's talking about Bitcoin sucking the life out of the fiat system 😉 "As a system that is embedded within another system keeps growing and starts extracting energy and materials at rates that are higher than replenishment rates, that larger system becomes degraded and becomes entropic. And entropy is a process that as a system looses energy, it moves from a state of order to disorder."
Thanks for sharing this article. “Punctuated equilibrium is the idea that evolution occurs in spurts instead of following the slow, but steady path that Darwin suggested. Long periods of stasis with little activity in terms of extinctions or emergence of new species are interrupted by intermittent bursts of activity.”

No, it doesn’t really matter, just curiosity. It is probably a mix of things put together as you suggest that brings us ultimately to the bedrock, which in this case is the Power Law expressed through Bitcoin. It’s very interesting that we have gotten to this point.
