I mostly use ChatGPT in the browser because it's limited to 3000 messages per week instead of compute time, can remember context from past conversations, and thinking extended mode is more powerful than 5.5 instant that codex interfaces with on the API. It's not like I actually need or want it to deploy tests or manage git for me. That's the least useful thing AI can do for me. I talk to it about the direction of the project and design intent and then I upload files for it to edit and it gives them back to me.
