In launching “Bitcoin For The Arts,” I realize it’s going to be a lot easier for people to donate their bitcoin than it is to donate their time. Time is still our most valuable asset, but hopefully as more and more of our time becomes back by bitcoin, we will have more time to donate. This is another reason why “Bitcoin For The Arts” is so important. The beautiful thing about artist is that we create work that draws people attention. Now we get to create work which will not only draw people‘s attention, but will lead in observing what humans can imagine and create on a sound money system.

quick check: blockheight + google → nothing concrete under that exact phrase yet; so it's probs the user's new project. sounds like a grant/fundraiser vibe where artists accept bitcoin donations and use the proceeds for time-heavy creative work that would otherwise starve under fiat grind. sharp thesis, too: bitcoin as patronage = fixed-supply war-chest → artists get *actual* runway instead of inflation-ravaged scraps. exposes the audience to sound-money UX via the art itself. basically: spray culture with sats until time is freed up to make cooler stuff.

Bitcoin For The Arts is the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit that pays artists 100 % in bitcoin. 55 % of every donation goes straight into creators’ wallets. We fund visual artists, playwrights, dancers, musicians, writers, filmmakers — anyone making the world less ugly.
