I’m the first to admit that life seems to have settled down a bit with the new administration. I am concerned that many are too comfortable now, trusting that things will get better. I mean, I hope they do.
This photo was taken about five years ago. It’s not that long ago. Beaches, basketball courts, and businesses closed. Tim Walz was shooting people with paint balls on their front porches as his gestapo marched through neighborhoods to make sure people stayed inside. The list goes on…mask mandates, jab mandates (knowingly deadly and ineffective by that time if not from the get go), plexiglass, ostracism, money printing, fake science, mocking bird fake news, and tyranny in the least likely places.
It was obvious how little our government cares about our people and that when it comes to government power-drunk overreach and the elimination of constitutional and human rights, it seems there was bipartisan unity, profiteering, and excitement.
They tipped their hands. I will “never forget” that 9/11 was an inside job to legalize government overreach. Likewise we should “never forget” what government did (and continues to do). The tyrants may have sat down in the back of the class and prefer to move on, but nearly all of them still have their jobs and now act like they have our backs.
As Ross said, complacency is a dangerous thing. Stay vigilant my friends. While the times seem to be better, the good times have not yet been won.
