Been bored of my podcasts lately and I need something intellectually stimulating. The what is money podcast used to do it for me but it got kinda repetitive and the content has shifted to a weird direction lately. The Bitcoin standard is pretty good but also feels a little repetitive at times. Looking for something that is beneficial to me or something that makes me feel more optimistic about the future. Any recommendations? #asknostr

Talk about the Je… I mean, the new world order. Or maybe the fact that you already don’t own anything (except bitcoin)
The black Philip show with Patrice O'neal. It's been several times I almost crashed my car laughing 🤣 and the women/relationship advice he gives is legendary
I felt the same as you just described and barely listen to either of those anymore. Try one of these, Bitcoin And…. Ungovernable Misfits , Plebchain Radio, The Bitcoin Podcast, Bitcoin Matrix and the Infinity Show
Lately, I’ve went down a rabbit hole learning about Orthodox Christianity. I grew up Catholic and never really looked into it. Recent episode of JRE had a guy named Wes Huff. He is some PhD type who studies the Bible. I haven’t really been listening to JRE but since it seemed related to my Orthodoxy rabbit hole. It was interesting. It has been a refreshing break from the other podcasts I normally consume. Of course, if you haven’t heard of “No Agenda,” I’d definitely give that a listen. It is my favorite podcast by far.
No Agenda is fun. Sometimes they are highly regarded but that's part of the fun.
I second Tetragrammaton. Like a lot of podcasts, it depends on the guests. Never heard if MMO - checking it out now.
For beneficial info & positive vibes, The Tim Ferriss show might interest you.

Odell's RHR and Citadel Dispatch, NVK's Bitcoin review, Sjors and Aaron's bitcoin explained, lectures of Rothbard and Mises.
I got bored of rhr cd and the Bitcoin review lol feels repetitive to me. Economics podcasts also feel similar. I understand the basic concepts now and I feel like the ROI from listening to them has diminished.
I think audiobooks will scratch your itch. I like Thomas Sowell's collections of short essays and columns. They feel dialogical because he's always arguing with an imagined opponent, but they are tightly reasoned and very satisfying to consider.
You might right. I don’t really listen to many audiobooks because I prefer to read them but that is probably the best option for me right now.
lol either im dumb or nostr was screwy earlier, but i could swear you recommended no agenda and the person replied with “I don’t do religious podcasts” which made me laugh. Pls ignore 😐
I think he was referring to the orthodox Christianity podcast I also mentioned lol
Yeah I somehow merged them and assumed the no agenda ep had some religious theme this week. 😅

Then I highly recommend you to shift to reading books by Mises, Rothbard and similar folks. Their works helped me understand Bitcoin in ways I didn't expect. It's one of the most low time preference activities you can do. Requires a lot of patience but it will be incredibly worth it in the coming months in ways you don't notice.

An individualist interpretation of religious texts and wisdom is amazing for that
It's a book about bitcoin written a century ago (replace gold in the story). It's about how not to be poor and it goes step by step about building wealth along with acquiring wisdom. The supernatural part is equally valuable, but I don't want to spoil it for you. It's a must read for bitcoiners who plan to keep their stacks and more. I'm so excited, I'm probably going to read it again.
